  How Does One Get The Study Articles For The Wt Study?

  this might seem a silly question but i have not been to a watchtower study in 28 years so am unfamiliar with the latest set up.

  the study watchtower magazines are not printed anymore as they are available only on the internet, as electronic editions.. ok. so how does one actually bring or get a printed copy for the study?

  is one expected to print his/her own individusl copy, or are they available at the desk for those who can't print these?

  When did the Watchtower first raise the idea of 1919?

  with all the changes arising from the shifts in watchtower "understanding" of its own prophetic ministry, i think we can discern a slow but detirmined interest in elavating the date 1919 to almost iconic standards - soon to displace the other date of significance, 1914.. my question to those with access to watchtower material is: when in fact did the watchtower leadership first mention this date as having any significance?

  popular watchtower mythology proceeds along the lines of jehovah coming to his temple in that year, and on inspecting the then watchtower leadership, chosing them to be his exclusive spokespersons on earth.. although this supposedly took place in 1919, it was certainly not in that year that there was any awareness that such was occurring.

  it was many years after when this first began to be pressed.

  Has the GB ever admitted that Jehovah has an invisible body?

  this is a natural consequence of the watchtower position that their god is in a finite location in some corner of the sky.

  if he is locative and in a specific place, does this mean that he has, in some sort of sense a "body"?

  thus, like the mormons who believe that the "father" has a literal and physical body made of flesh and bone, does tha watchtower also believe that their deity too, has a body, albeit an invisible, "spirit" one?.

  i know that the mormons teach that satan and jesus are brothers, but the question i would like to ask is:.

  does the watchtower teach this as well?

  am'haaretz anyone know of a Watchtower reference?

  several years ago, probably about the 1980s, i recall reading a reference to the term "am-haaretz" [literally "people of the earth/land" a 1c ad jewish term used by the pharisees as a pejorative to refer to rustic, peasant people] in the watchtower magazine in association with how watchtower followers were to treat disfellowshipped ones.. can anyone recall this and find this reference, or am i dreaming it all up?.

  at least a year or even two years ago, there was a fascinating post which listed the frequency of biblical chapters as used in watchtower literature.

  i recall that matt 24 was given the pride of place with some 10-20 thousand citations, and next in descending order were other chapters.

  some chapters such as john 2 and 3 were hardly referred to at all.. i know that i saved it to my hard drive but, in researching some material about the "generation" of matt 24, can not trace it.
